My daughter needs repentance: Maria age 18, is co-habiting with Oscar age 26, a controlling, emotionally abusive illegal alien; separating her from family. Pray that God does whatever is necessary to bring her to repentance and cause her to lose interest. She was raised in Christian home but is unsaved.

I have a tumor on my right arm which will be removed surgically at 7:00 am CST. I ask everyone to pray for me that the tumor is not malignant, although the doctors say it is. I know that only God can heal me and I am asking for His help, as well as your prayers. Thanks!

I need prayers for myself. I have some uriary tract problems. I need prayers that I will receive full healing and a second UA test that is normal with no blood (I take this second test soon). That bleeding will stop this weekend and I can have peace of mind. Also, I need prayers and encouragement to change my lifestyle to healthier and my spiritual life so I may grow closer to God along with my immediate family. Thanks, Denise

Please pray for the ministry I work in. The ministry is trying to buy a new property and things (and departments) will be moving. I am asking the Lord to put all this in order. I am praying that the right property be purchased easily and quickly. Let this property be advantageous for all of those involved, residents and staff. I will be staying where I am, I am praying for a compassionate, kind, loving, fair, and generous director be placed here to oversee this building. I would ask that this person be loving to all involved and understanding. In fact, I pray that all staff positions be filled with just the right individuals so that this ministry is the best one in America!!

I would like to tell you my praise reports. I prayed in April, 2004 about several things and people on this prayer request line. Now, looking back, all of these requests have been asked by the Lord. My son-in-law has the best job he has ever had, the family is in Christian counseling (and they have the money to pay for it) my friend, Kenny has the best job he has ever had and he is sober. I got the money for my shoes and to get my car repaired. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

I would like to pray that all of the above to continue on track with the Lord’s blessing. Please pray with me that Satan is rebuked from all of these situations once and for all.

I would like prayer now for me to get a raise, be able to buy a house that I desire, and have a loving, Christian husband. I have been waiting a long time so I am weary so please pray for my strength to carry on. Thanks and God Bless for all you do!

From: "RICHARD"
Please pray for me, a sinner. My life is on a downward sprial and I pray that God will release me from the burden of sin that occupies my life. I have lost all that I can lose. I pray that I don not lose my faith. Dear God, please forgive me for whatever that I have done that has caused all of this turmoil in my life. I pray that my life will become something of value for You.

From: "DELORES"
My mother, Mary H. is 66 and has been fighting various kinds of cancer for 12 years. We moved back home to Texas in June of this year. Our family has been here since the 1930s. My mother worked for a department store for 10 years before retiring at age 65. She went through the Chemo treatments and never missed work except just a couple of times because of the Chemo. God has been good to her. She is taking her 4th round of Chemo since 1993. They say the cancer is shrinking. I am having an angioplasty November the 9th and I have other medical things I have to have done. I will be able to go back to work in December hopefully and try to go back to college to finish my degree. My husband was working in the refinery sector but the bottom fell out a while back when the economy went bad. We lost several thousand dollars when a communications company filed bankruptcy. He is doing drywall and ceiling work, but there isn’t much work here at this time of year.

We had bought a house and my husband and I have been working on it. We did not expect the unexpected. We do not have the money to redo the house since there were things wrong we did not anticipate and building material went sky high. It did serve our needs to get back home since it had separate houses for my mother and us. I can take care of her but yet we both have our privacy. The house is two very small 1950s houses put together. It was not put together the way it should have been and there are many things we have found out that were not done the correct way. The roof is sagging, all the electric wires are old and need to be replaced, as does the plumbing. The siding, doors, and windows are in very bad shape and all need to be replaced and the house has no insulation. There is some asbestos that needs removing. Each half of the house is has only a small inadequate heater. We have completed and begun a number of projects around the house including fixing mother's bathroom so she could take showers instead of baths. She has a tracheotomy and is not comfortable taking tub baths. Despite progress and helpful donations of lumber there is just not enough money or materials to do all we need to do. I have never asked for help like this before but I felt it was worth a try. God says we have not because we ask not so I’m asking for prayer and money and/or material to do the work the house needs. It is snowing here and the wind is blowing. The house is very cold and drafty. I took tape and taped up the drafts I found and decided to write this for prayer and help. Even a dollar or two could change our cimcumstances. Thank you for taking the time to read this and/or for any help you can give. I pray God will bless all of you. Sincerely, Delores

Editor: Due to length parts of this request have been summarized. CHAIN posts prayer requests from the public to encourage our members and visitors to reach out in prayer to those in need. When requests mention a need for money or goods it is up to the individual to use prayerful discernment in determining whether God is calling them to offer tangible assistance. You may request contact information for Delores by writing to prayer@chain.org

Theresa S. is doing well following gall bladder surgery and returning home today. Test results for other issues are pending, but her doctor is hopeful that the gall bladder was the source of all the trouble.

Tami V. asks prayer for one of her ballet students. Sammi is 11 and has been diagnosed with T-Cell leukemia. She will be on chemo for two years if we don't intercede. A lump formed in her lung and neck in the span of two weeks that was big enough to cause her to be out of breath. The chemo regimen has already worn her out and it's only been several weeks.

Amanda S. needs to make a decision about accepting a part time job as music minister at a small Baptist church. This would be in addition to her present job teaching at a Messianic congregation.

Doug B. is recuperating from heart surgery having had two stints placed in blocked arteries. He is scheduled to return home today. The surgery went well.

Cherri M. requests prayers for guidance regarding her circumstances. She says she is living by faith and her current financial situation is getting very serious. She requests that you pray for clarity for her so that she knows she is not jumping ahead of God or acting in desperation. She wants to be in "lock step" with Him and is aware that He knows her needs and will meet all of them. Praise: Cherri's mother recently had a health crisis but has been released from Nurse's Care and is improving daily.

Please pray for those of us traveling to Israel tomorrow. Others in our group include my mother Peaches, Dee and Carlton, Beth and her mother. Thank you for your prayers and support.
