All around me people (Christians) are having their cancer come back on them. I am asking God not to let the cancer come back on me. I know it sounds selfish but I don’t want to be sick again. Many events have happened since we last sent a prayer letter. We finally gave up trying to get back the stolen car and books because during the last attempt the person who contacted the gangsters was badly hurt. We see a connection between two criminal incidents with people who were involved with books (Evgeniy and Alexander). Both times these were life endangering situations. We decided to stop trying to retrieve books from people who are evidently murderers, rather than risk more dangerous situations. We thank you very much for prayers about all these issues. We leave it up to the Lord how He decides to resolve this. You remember several times we tried to send money for a new edition of books with a new cover. Now we have got good news: 1000 exemplars are in print. Praise the Lord! We are so thankful to you for you faithfulness and persistence. The message in this book shares principles of God’s economic plan. We were not aware how seriously this is touching upon interests in the kingdom of darkness. His health got much better after your prayers. He was in emergency station a couple of weeks, now he is paralyzed on one side of his body and can barely speak. Her health condition is very weak at this time; several times she has been to the emergency room because of problems with her heart. Also, pray for the forgiveness of our sins. From: "G.L." Hello, I am writing you because I don't know where else to go. All my life I have believed in God and in His word. My whole life has been a struggle. I have lost all hope now. I cannot work because of an ailment called Benign Vertigo. I have no money coming in, and I am over 200 lbs over weight. I have tried ever diet there is. I made sure I was keeping God first in my life in every area, but still could not lose the weight. I have no money to have a stomach by-pass surgery, and the county won't help me. Now because of the Benign Vertigo I cannot even work. I know God is real and He can do anything. But to tell the truth I no longer trust God. I do not believe I can trust Him to help me. I have begged him to even help me to desire Him and His word again, but he has not helped me do that. I do not believe he listens to me, or else He just doesn't care about me, one way or the other. I cannot go on. I just want to end all this hurt I feel, and loneliness, especially the loneliness of not having God in my life anymore. I walked closely with God for years, but never saw Him help me. He may have and I guess He did, but I did not see it......then a series of events happened and it was more that I could take. I quit trusting God. Since then I walked away from Him and His laws. I have tried to turn back to Him many times, but without His strength I cannot totally submit to Him anymore. I know I have to trust Him in order for Him to help me, but I can't I am afraid He will let me down again like He has so for so many years. Even when I walked close with Him, He never answered any of my prayers, small nor important prayers, but I kept saying let His will be done. I believed that He had His reason for saying "no" to me all the time. He always wants us to prove to Him whether we can stand by Him and be true to our word to Him, but in my eyes love and trust is a two way street, give and ke.....Promises are to be kept by both sides.......I kept my promises for years.....walked with Him, studied His word......Prayed.....put Him above work, family and friends.........He never kept any promises that I was able to see. I want to be able to trust Him. I want to be able to serve Him. I don't know how. Someone may be able to talk to Him about me, and maybe then He will listen. I cannot go on like this.
